It would have been helpful to see the invite list to make sure it is accurate and lines up with our suggestions?

Hello Sheila,
Below is the email inviting you to the meeting. We had discussed you bringing an additional PPU representative. Please send me name and email and I can invite. When you, Lonnie, John and I met, we talked about working with you to develop the agenda for this meeting. Due to John and Lonnie’s busy schedules we will be doing this by email and possibly by phone if needed. Will that work for you? I’ll call tonight or tomorrow if your available.
Appreciatively, Rick DIDN'T HAPPEN
Hello,
With deep gratitude and appreciation, you are receiving this invitation to participate as a member of the Portland Public Schools Discipline Handbook Committee.
This Central Handbook Committee is by invitation only and will consist of members who belong to a community group, school administrators, teachers, student support specialists, District Administrators, and Portland Association of Teachers (PAT) leadership.
We understand this is important and vital work for our community and schools. This Central Committee will engage in a dialogue around the PPS’s Student Discipline Handbook (also referred to as the Guide To Policies, Rules, and Procedures, Rights and Discipline).
These will be facilitated meetings with a clear process. During this first meeting the Central Handbook Committee will focus on the following outcomes:
-
The number of Central Committee Meetings and the schedule.
-
The process for gathering input from stakeholders.
-
The potential for additional needs.
This meeting is less than a week away and everyone’s calendars are filled with many obligations. Clearly, a significant challenge will be gathering people together at times which are convenient for all. We will strive to determine a schedule and process which will accommodate busy schedules.
When: Wednesday, May 6, 2015 from 6:30-8:00 PM
Where: BESC, 501 N. Dixon, Portland 97227
Room: Wy’East Conference Room on L1
Snacks and beverages will be offered.
RSVP by clicking this link:
Please contact me for any additional needs.
Sincerely,
Rick Kirschmann

Is this what you talked about/negotiated with Rick? Let me know.

Thanks,
Christina
