At Grands TeachingGrandchildrenSponsoringOfferings and Giveaways"Helping to Support Learning" we receive questions every day from generous donors looking to donate noncash items to a worthy cause. Below are the steps we recommend taking in order to maximize the impact of your noncash contribution.

Step 1: Determine whether or not the items you wish to donate are useful.
We can only make use of items that are new, unused, or nearly new. If you don't have any use for your old broken toys, cheap snacks with to much sugar and artificial flavoring or other used items that don't fit, chances are neither will we. Won't do much to help out a worthy charity. If you think that the items you wish to donate may be of use to someone else proceed to Step 2. We don't want to be uppity but we might choose to turn down the donation and ask for cash instead. If it does not fit our quality standards!

Step 2: In lieu of cash we ark asking for gift cards, books, snacks, and educational toys/school supplies. We can occasionally accept cash but will be put into the Grandparents Fund to support the fees that might be levied on some items parents need.
