We want to give thanks to the National Education Association (NEA). We discovered in the NEA News headlines "Are Schools Ready to Tackle the Mental Health Crisis"? This assessment provided the information exactly needed to inform. this report. Teachers can be experts on the need of mental health support for our children.
Read these, "observations ", written by Two Special Education Teachers (Laurie Levy and Jason B. Allen, whose concerns align with ours.

We often write of the mental and physical harm that our children are internalizing, "Educational Trauma"! We have observed schools selecting a certain kind of student to bestow the kinds of compassion or support that are needed for every child.
Our Families have been indoctrinated with the belief that they are inferior, we ask all to be courageous enough to recognize this oppression and help families evolve into the strong advocates and students they are. Families must be respected, recognized, and listened to.

Asking For
"Intentional Intervention"
It is the Mental Health System that needs to be torn down and re-Imagined!

Organizing Parents/Families for Better Outcomes

PPU has made important steps so that they, amongst the rest of the Family communities, can go forth to do the work they are called to do for "The Children." Every family of the educational system has a right to be heard and the children have a right to a great education.
We live a constant struggle, we know to well, to be recognized as experts of our children by creating (demanding) safe spaces for us to be heard. We designed this site to be one of those spaces. We pray that all will recognize the importance of reviving the Special Education System. Especially emphasizing equal access.
Inclusivity is the key!
We are here to encourage educators to rigorously intervene in pushing for change. Those who need mental health support most are falling through the cracks!

This site provides a centralized collection of articles, data, history, fact sheets, and stories at a glance. We researched for those tools we thought most important to help customize support for those who are generally left out or ignored.
